Gatto Bagnato

Gatto Bagnato translates to “wet kitty” in Italian. It just rolls off the tongue right?

I’m Sarah Lemons, owner and groomer at Gatto Bagnato. An avid lover of all things cat. My past is in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant, and my volunteer work is in neonatal kitten fostering. I love helping felines to thrive.

Like many of you, I noticed the lack of cat-exclusive grooming options and decided to begin studying with the National Cat Groomers Institute. At first, I did not know that cats do not self-groom as I assumed. And I wasn’t aware of all the benefits to getting cats professionally groomed.

So I set to work creating my own grooming salon that is feline exclusive. While I love my dog, having dogs in the same area as cats while grooming can result in unneeded stress. My dog, Millie, stays in a separate area, leaving the grooming area focused on cats only.

I have 6 cats myself (and a community cat, Tiger); Oisin, Izzy, Nadja, Luna, Polly, and Jimmy. In my spare time I do all things with yarn, enjoy quilting, and take care of my human kiddos. You may even catch me in costume with my local dance troupe.
